In general, a natural bodybuilding nutrition plan consists of individuals eating at least forty percent proteins, forty percent carbohydrates and twenty percent of good fats each day.  This plan can be adjusted according to whether the person needs to lean down before a competition or whether they are trying to bulk up on muscle.  </p>
<p>Natural Bodybuilding Nutrition Diets</p>
<p>A correct natural bodybuilding nutrition plan should consist of eating smaller meals throughout the day so that the person eats every three hours.  This in itself helps the individual to increase his or her metabolism so that more calories are burned on a regular basis.  It also helps to prevent the body from entering into a catabolic state in which the body believes it is starving and will feed off the lean muscle tissue and convert it to fat. They also need to eat a higher amount of calories without fat so that their bodies can look as lean as possible, so natural supplements will sometimes be used to replace the calories and vitamins that are worn off during the training.</p>
<p>All Natural Bodybuilding Is Drug Free</p>
<p>All natural bodybuilders must prove to the bodybuilding organizations that they are a part of that they are drug free.  This means that they must take drug tests every two months in order to qualify to enter competitions.  For athletes that are on the National Bodybuilding team, they must take the tests more often, at least one per month, to prove that they are still eligible for competition and to keep the competitions fair.  </p>
<p>If an all natural bodybuilder is found to have taken drugs, he can be banned from competition from one year to life, depending on the individual case. <p>Although there has always been the assumption that a bodybuilder&#8217;s body could not be formed by natural means, that is not the case.  All natural body builders refuse to use steroids or any other toxic substance and use nutrition and hard work through their intense training programs to achieve the results they desire.  There are all natural bodybuilding competitions for all ages and sexes, beginning with children.  Each competitor is judged based on criteria set by the organizations where their bodies are critiqued for their symmetry, the division of the muscles, the size of the muscles and the poise of the individual during the competition, such as how they move through their poses and routine.  </p>

Natural bodybuilding and fitness organizations watch dog these competitions, disbarring any competitor that has not been drug tested within a two month period before the competition.  Athletes who are found to have been using drugs will be banned from competing for five years and possibly banned for life, especially if it is a second offense.  </p>
<p>Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness &#8211; Poses In Competition</p>
<p>In natural bodybuilding and fitness competitions, athletes compete according to their different age classes and sex.  Each athlete is required to do a series of different poses and routine to show off the muscles of their body.  The uniforms that are worn during the competition are bikini trunks for men of any color but devoid of any other markings or ornamentation.  For women, a two piece bathing suit is worn, also of any color but without ornamentation.</p>
<p>At the beginning of the natural bodybuilding and fitness competition, the athletes of an age class will come out in a group and stand in line in front of the judges.  During this part of the competition, they stand in a semi-relaxed state and turn to the right a quarter turn each time the judges ask them to do so.  The judges will ask them to turn until they have seen each side of the body and looked for the symmetry, musculature and definition in each competitor&#8217;s body.</p>
<p>The next stage in a natural bodybuilding and fitness competition is for the athletes to perform the ten mandatory poses that show off the muscles of all parts of the body.  There are specific ways the poses must be held in order to best show the musculature of the contestant&#8217;s body.  The first nine both men and women do but the tenth is sex specific, with the men performing the most muscular pose or &#8216;crab shot&#8217; and the women performing the most symmetrical pose.  The other poses are the front double biceps, front lat spread, abdominal pose, side chest, side triceps, rear double triceps, rear double biceps, rear lat spread, quadriceps, and hands on hips most muscular.</p>
<p>The final stage of the natural bodybuilding and fitness competitions is the routine stage, where contestants have ninety seconds to perform a routine to music that shows off their muscles and talents.  Some athletes will include karate or gymnastics with the free style poses which shows their physicality and endurance.</p>

Natural bodybuilding organizations not only help to give athletes tips and training advice, but they also help to oversee competitions to make sure that athletes abide by the natural bodybuilding rules.  The American Bodybuilding Association, or ABA, and the other governing organizations test their athletes in order for them to be eligible to compete.  These tests are in the form of a polygraph, blood tests or urine tests, depending on the organization.  Usually the test results will be valid for two months before additional testing is required.</p>
<p>Judging In Natural Bodybuilding</p>
<p>Judging in natural bodybuilding competitions are based on certain criteria which are examined when the participants show their different required poses.  One of the judging criteria in natural bodybuilding is symmetry where the judges compare different parts of the body with each other to see if the muscle proportion balances out.  For instance, they will compare the width of the chest to the width of the thighs, the deltoid muscles to the calves and the hips to the sweep of the back.</p>
<p>Presentation is also judged in natural bodybuilding competitions where the judges look at how the athlete moves from pose to pose as well as how they do the poses.  Athletes should hold the poses so that it shows their muscles to their best advantage.  The size and shape of the muscles, checking the size against the bone structure of the individual as well as whether the muscles are pleasing to the eye and uniformly developed.  Finally, the separation and definition of the muscles is judged in natural bodybuilding competitions.  This means that there should be clear cuts in between the muscles and between the muscle groups.</p>
<p>The poses for the athletes usually start with all the athletes coming out and standing in front of the judges.  In this part of the competition, the athletes will stand semi-relaxed and turn to the right until the judges have seen all sides of the person&#8217;s body.
